LaMantia Gallery Presents World-Renowned Artist Ferjo In An Exclusive NY Presentation
A master of perspective, Fernando de Jesus Oliveira -- better known as Ferjo -- is one of the most dynamic and exciting artists on the international stage. Ferjo studied at the prestigious Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts from in the 1970s, a period in which he began painting Cubist style landscapes and eventually moving to realist portraiture. His surreal and transcendental way with a brush has been previously acknowledged with Ferjo winning the distinguished Crescent Scholarship at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the New York Council for the Arts Award of Excellence in Portraiture and Interiors. Furthermore, Ferjo has works on permanent display at a variety of museums including the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum in Independence, Missouri.
Local to Long Island, an impressive collection of artworks by world-renowned and museum-based artist Ferjo will be on exhibition -- and available for acquisition -- at LaMantia Gallery in Northport, New York.
